About Me

Hi! I’m Veronica, an early childhood educator with over 10 years of teaching experience and a Master of Education in Elementary Education from the American College of Education.

My teaching journey began in Montessori education, where I developed a deep appreciation for hands-on learning, independence, and following each child’s individual development. Since then, I’ve taught preschool, kindergarten, first grade, and homeschool, gaining experience with a variety of educational approaches.

I’m especially passionate about developmentally appropriate education and finding ways to balance academic rigor with the needs of young learners. I believe children are capable of incredible things when they’re given the right tools, encouragement, and time to grow.

I created Ms. Veronica Teaches as a space to share my experiences, explore educational research, question traditional approaches, and advocate for learning environments that truly meet children where they are.
